Dear applicant,
Thank you for your interest in working for Comfort Keepers. Please follow 4 steps below to complete the training process.
STEP 1 - Orientation Video
Please click the link to watch Comfort Keepers Orientation Video. Please note that the video is 1 hr 13 minutes long.
STEP 2 - Activity Skills Material
Please review the following materials related to activity skills. Please note that you will be required to take a test during in-person orientation in the office.
a. Preventing Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation in our work - IDoA Video
b. Review Reading Material
c. Sexual Harassment Training
c-a. Bystander Intervention Training
d. Food Safety - Aging (illinois.gov)
e. Nutrition Status and Malnutrition - Aging (illinois.gov)
f. Knowledge of Dementia and related disorders: vs. Normal Aging
STEP 4 - Submit Documents
Please bring the following documents with you for in-person orientation in the office:

Driver’s License / State ID / Passport (Must be Valid/Current)

Social Security Card / Birth Certificate

Work Authorization (if Social Security Card states “Only Valid with Work Authorization”)

Direct Deposit Verification- Must be typed out, with Routing #, Account # & Bank Name

Current/Valid Auto Insurance Card (if you are a Driver)

HS Diploma / GED Cert / License (if CNA or RN) / 2 Letter of Reference (if has no formal diploma/GED)

Covid Vaccination Card (if you have received the vaccination)
